About Bryce
All my life I have enjoyed the pleasure of moving my body. At one time, I participated in athletics. Today much of my movement experience is centered on my yoga and meditation practice. I am a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner®, and a certified yoga instructor. I teach at a few studios in Seattle, and you might also find me dancing the Lindy hop, salsa or tango when I get the chance.
I earned a master’s degree in Environment and Community from Antioch University (Seattle). The convergence of movement and community are two very important aspects of what I want to bring to the world. I believe that my transformation through yoga, Feldenkrais and meditation has brought me deeper into the world and made me even more aware of the need to create a global consciousness. In many cases there is a separation between personal work and social change, but I believe they are integral to each other and I continue to look for ways to help people bridge these parts of themselves. As this happens a more whole, connected person emerges.
"After about three months, I was pain-free in my lower back. I am not sure if I would have progressed as fast as I did by solely participating in Feldenkrais group lessons. The one-on-one awareness program plus following Bryce’s exercises on CD at home at least twice a week, made Feldenkrais a patient-customized, effective experience."
"One day, after working with Bryce for a couple of months, I noticed I was walking more tall, upright and comfortably than I could remember ever walking. It felt natural and effortless.
My posture has improved overall, and I am more aware of how I move, and possibilities for standing, walking, running and moving more comfortably."
